Deputy Chief of the Brest FEZ Administration Aliaksandr Shukaila took part in the Belarusian-Italian Business Forum held on November 14th, 2017 in Turin.

 


The event was organized with a view to developing bilateral cooperation and implementing the agreements reached during the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus A. Kobyakov with the president of the Piemont region (Italy) S. Kyamparino.

Deputy Chief of the Brest FEZ Administration held a presentation of the trade, industrial and investment potential of the first free economic zone of Belarus. He spoke of the special legal regime, tax and customs preferences, which are a guarantee of the successful operation of enterprises-residents of the FEZ. It was noted that the special legal regime on the territory of the "Brest" FEZ will be in force until 2050.

In the process of communication, Aliaksandr Shukaila responded to the questions of Italian businessmen on the topic of his speech.

According to the Belarusian-Italian agreements on high-level the “Italian Industrial Area” was created on “Brest” Fez territory. For implementation of projects of Italian companies, planning to set up businesses in the FEZ, the land plot with an area of 26 hectares with all necessary infrastructure is reserved, with further possibility of widening.       

During the visit to Piemont, the Belarusian delegation held meetings with J. DeSantis, Deputy President of the region for production, economy and innovation; Guido Bolatto, Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce of Turin and Dario Gallina, President of the Regional Union of Industrialists.
